I used to be between the people who disliked the hobbit trillogy, but now that Rings of Power has come out, I have realized how spoiled I used to act about it.

This franchise changed my life in so many more ways than one.

The original halo trilogy also pioneered esports into what it is now. Without the Halo franchise and MLG esports maybe would have never taken off the way it did.

I'm just watching this now 💖 I think Chris Columbus did an amazing job with the first 2 movie adaptations because it was full of childlike wonder - the first 2 are my favorites out of the 8 movies. That being said, Alfonso Cuaron coming in to direct the 3rd one was perfect because that was the point when the books started to become darker in tone, which also set the tone of the other movies in the series.

To this day I still think Ultra Magnus should have become a suit for Optimus to fight in, while his main body was too weak to fight. Because its so strange that Ultra Magnus without his Magnus bits is just a white Optimus. He could be a mentor for the new Rodimus Prime without completely writing him out of the series.

You should make a full video on Red Vs Blue. With the last "season" Restoration out it would be cool to see a video remembering the series.

I think too many are much to critical about "The Hobbit Trilogy". Sure this trilogy wasn't as great as "Lord of the Rings Trilogy" which it was obviously compared to and the same can certainly also been said about the book series when they're compared - so it's no wonder the movies also have a difference in greatness. Compared to other fantasy movies than "Lord of the Rings" - "The Hobbit" is still a masterpiece with so much care to detail, great acting and scenes which make it a little unfair only to compare "The Hobbit Trilogy" to the best movie series of all time in my opinion. I'm sure if "The Hobbit" had been released before "Lord of the Rings" it would have been praised a lot more and in my view - even though the books are still my favorite books - I think both film trilogies are the best versions you could ever imagine being made (even though the "The Hobbit Trilogy" could have been better - but also good reasons why it didn't was which is aanother long story in itself) and better than the books. Peter Jackson and all who worked on the movies did an amazing world class job making all these movies and they will stand out for me as the greatest of all times since I can't imagine anyone making better movies in the future. Of course with "Lord of the Rings trilogy" standing out in comparison having much better books as source matrial.

This trilogy proves that it takes the right creator at the right time. Peter Jackson at this point had limited resources for CGI so he put it all where it counts. Gollum, trolls, Nazgûl, Grond and backgrounds. The results were perfect. Peter Jackson 10 years later had way more CGI resources so he used all of them everywhere because he was tired and lazy. We ended up with Donkey Kong Country: Dwarf Edition

00:29:37 The AR is not your primary / default gun but its the pistol (hence it feels broken). CE pistol is supposed to be the "jack of all trades" gun which you can use whichever way. AR is supposed to be a secondary weapon to support the pistol.
